Helping Hands of Ennis received a brand new scale on Monday, just in time to weigh a donation of food from Super 1 Foods on Tuesday.

The new, floor-mounted scale can weigh a maximum of 5,000 pounds at once, said Executive Director Judi Hejny. The charity’s old, table mounted scale could only weigh 100 pounds at a time.
