Almanza finishing career strong

Just about everybody on the Lion tennis team that’s headed to the Region 2 Tournament is looking forward to gaining valuable experience so they can advance further in future seasons.

For Marisela Almanza and her doubles partner Valeria Cochran, their tennis timetable is much shorter as the program’s only seniors. They won the 15-4A girls’ doubles title to advance to regionals. Born in Waxahachie, Almanza grew up in Ennis and she’s ready to represent maroon and white one more time.
