Apartments get zoning OK

Commissioners gave swift approval to a zoning change that will allow an 80-unit senior apartment complex to set up shop near Ennis Regional Medical Center.
Summerstone Senior Village is planned as a four-plex development in the $8-million development range, according to documents filed with the city. Building plans are expected to be forthcoming after the approved zoning change.
