Avalon ISD reopening gymnasium

A historic Avalon ISD building damaged in an April 2011 tornado has been repaired, and will officially re-open Saturday night.
School officials are inviting the public to a rededication event starting at 5 p.m. Saturday night in the newly restored J.P. Griffith gymnasium.
