BBQ cooks to vie for cash prizes

Organizers behind this year’s  Bluebonnet BBQ Cookoff say they need 20 to 30 judges for the April 12 event.

Chamber President Jeannette Patak said this year’s event, held at the Sokol Hall, will offer cash prizes to cooking teams thanks to sponsorship from Barbecue Wood Flavors, Allen Samuels, Ennis State Bank, Ennis Ford, Quality Inn, First State Bank and Oncor Electric.
