Bluebonnet season likely busiest ever

By the experts’ best estimation, the city may have had its busiest bluebonnet season to date in 2012.
Tallying the total of visitors who signed in at the CVB’s offices, director Gina Rokas said the 12,000 people who checked in there is easily a record in her tenure with the CVB. That doesn’t begin to account for enterprising tourists who struck out on their own.
