Board says ‘nay’ to raise

A salary grievance committee denied Precinct 2 Constable Terry Nay’s request for a salary increase on Friday by a vote of 7 to 2.

Nay filed for the grievance on Aug. 19, asking for a new annual salary of $60,031, plus benefits. Currently, Nay makes $54,436 per year.
