Ellis County sheriff’s deputies found a woman’s body in the woods northwest of Waxahachie on Monday morning, and investigators are trying to learn how she ended up there and why.
ECSO spokesman Lt. James Saulter released a statement saying the department was notified about a possible dead body in a wooded area near the 1400 block of Black Champ Road, less than a mile from Mid-Way Regional Airport.
