Bowie dedicates Earth Week to child’s memory

The teachers and students of Bowie Elementary dedicated this year’s Earth Week festivities to the memory of Ashton Weaver.

Bowie counselor Kristi Copeland and Principal Kay Skuza revealed rose bushes to be planted in front of the school in honor of Weaver, who died earlier this year from leukemia at the age of 11.
