Bragg’s Appliance takes second at district
Bragg’s Appliance gave the Maypearl Panthers all they could handle in a couple of Friday games for the TTAB senior midget district title. The Ennis team won 41 of its 47 games over the last two years.
Facing a very strong Maypearl Panthers team for the TTAB senior midget district title and a trip to state, Bragg’s Appliance came just three innings from sitting atop the mountain.
BA (20-2) won a thrilling eight-inning affair 12-11 in Friday’s early game, and then led after three innings in a 12-7 late loss that saw Maypearl win the district. Maypearl was the only team to beat BA this year.
