Brookshire’s expected to submit plans

Site plans for the incoming Brookshire’s Grocery Co. store in west Ennis are expected to go before the city Sept. 24.
An earlier deadline to go before the planning and zoning board on Sept. 10 passed without completed plans, and Brookshire’s is lined up for the month’s second meeting. Steve Howerton, the city’s manager, doesn’t expect the two-week delay will push back the store’s completion date significantly.
