Palmer Bulldog baseball coach Jay Johnson has been letting opposing coaches call the coin flips, and every time Johnson has been rewarded with the one-game playoffs he desires.
It paid off for the Bulldogs yet again on Wednesday night in Weatherford, as Palmer (22-12) took the lead against Brock for good in the top of the third during a 3-2 victory in the Region 2 Final. The Bulldogs earned their fifth berth in the state tournament, and their first since 1994. Brock finished with more hits (5-2) and errors (4-0) in the loss.
