The Ennis Public Theatre’s new production of William Inge’s 1950s play Bus Stop makes a strong case about the payoff for a bit of patience.
Building on a setting ripe for meaningful drama, Bus Stop drops a varied group of travelers into a Kansas diner in the middle of a blizzard and helps tension turn to comedy as the audience warms up to the passengers’ plight.
