Charges against Prachyl dismissed
The State of Texas moved to dismiss the charges against Boston Prachyl on Wednesday.
The reason stated in a release from the Ellis County and District Attorney’s office was “nolle prosequi,” the voluntary withdrawal by the prosecuting attorney of present proceedings of a criminal charge.
Patrick Wilson, Ellis County and District Attorney, states that “This was a difficult decision, but the State of Texas has an obligation to seek justice. This motion is consistent with that obligation. I would like to thank the jury for their service in the matter. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the victim and her family.”
