Cheetahs start fast at tourney

As softball fans are well aware, the best recipe for tournament success is to stay in the winners’ bracket as long as possible.
On Tuesday in Italy, the Keever Cheetahs got off to the quality start they were looking for in the TTAS junior district tournament. Facing the Hillsboro Misfits, the Cheetahs jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning and took care of business from there for a 6-2 victory. Each team finished with five hits and the Cheetahs had more errors (4-3).
