City bidding out road project

The anticipated construction project for reworking numerous roads in Ennis faces a one-month delay after bidding for the contract received no responses in May.
City Manager Steve Howerton said the project will go back through the bidding process June 26 and expects to have bids in hand July 2 after some of the details of the contract are reconfigured.
