City expects months of spraying

Ennis has announced another large mosquito spraying event Thursday, and city officials are planning continued spraying events in the near future.
The effort to control proliferation of West Nile virus by killing carrier mosquitoes will, as in prior spraying events, begin at 9:30 p.m., and will cover three separate areas of the city.
