Ennis extended its comprehensive tax abatement policy for an additional cycle this month.
City commissioners voted to make no significant changes to the incentive plan, which offers qualifying business and industry tax breaks for reaching employment and investment benchmarks. State guidelines require the city’s tax abatement structure to be approved every two years.
