City OKs budget, tax rate

The Ennis City Commission gave final approval to the 2012-2013 city budget Monday, and also OK’d the adoption of numerous updates to international codes as part of the city’s code structure.
Commissioners approved the $0.695 per $100 value tax rate and roughly $25.2-million budget at the first September meeting on first reading.
