Union Pacific recognized Ennis’s place in its history as part of the rail company’s 150 year anniversary celebration.
Tourism Director Gina Rokas said Ennis became part of Union Pacific’s “Train Town USA” registry this month after longtime UP conductor Barry Metcalf approached her with the idea.
