City plans going before public

City Manager Steve Howerton expects a public hearing on the Ennis City Commission’s plan for redevelopment of the historic downtown Monday.

Whether a draft ordinance will be presented at Monday’s regular city commission meeting is still in question, Howerton said, but in the event a draft of the incentives plan aimed at helping preserve and redevelop downtown is ready for consideration, no vote is planned.
