Ennis has announced further spraying for mosquitoes to combat growing concerns over the proliferation of West Nile virus this summer.
City Manager Steve Howerton said the city is the only municipality in Ellis County spraying to control the adult mosquito population, activity that has been under way for several weeks in targeted areas.
