Clinic’s success speaks to community need

Students ranging from early childhood to high school filtered through the Lions Club Mobile Eye Clinic on Wednesday for vision screening and free eyeglasses.

Lions Club Secretary Bob Taylor said 75 to 80 local children took part in the program on Wednesday, an increase from last year’s “largest ever” clinic. Almost all of the students were from Ennis ISD, with one from Palmer and one from Mildred.
