Code ordinance up for changes

While Ennis city commissioners are trying to work out the details of coming road construction, they’ve also been tasked with considering changes to the citywide code enforcement ordinance.

Members of the Ennis Chamber of Commerce Historic Committee drew from codes in Lancaster and Rowlett to suggest tougher measures governing everything from window screening to graffiti.
