County sets tax hearings

The Ellis County Commissioners Court is preparing for discussions on the upcoming fiscal year’s tax rates.
The court approved several dates for future public hearings on tax issues. They will hold a public hearing on the proposed fiscal year 2012-2013 budget at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27.
