The state has filed petitions to seizure more than $460,000 in bundled, packaged cash and a tractor-trailer rig after a traffic stop on I-35 last week.

The Ellis County and District Attorney’s Office released a statement Friday said the requested seizure of $464,870 and a 2007 Kenworth tractor-trailer follows the arrest of Mission man Omar Nicholas Lopez, 37. A news release states Lopez allegedly committed three traffic violations and was pulled over by Texas Department of Public Safety troopers.
