Court resolution passes, clinic funding reworked

The Ellis County Commissioners Court voted 4-1 on Monday to approve a resolution asking the Texas Legislature for a third district court.
The court most recently discussed the creation of a new court on Nov. 14, at a highly attended and tense public meeting which invited input from both the public and the county’s elected judges.
