Czech Music Fest on tap

Nick Todaro, [email protected]

The eighth annual Ennis Czech Music Festival may not officially be until Saturday, but the polka sounds start pumping out at the Sokol Activity Center tonight.

The annual Czech Music Festival set from 1 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday and its customary free pre-party Polka Jam tonight will feature music from acts both traditional and innovative.

The events start swinging from 7 to 11 p.m. tonight, giving eager music lovers a head start. The event has, in recent years, drawn upwards of 1,000 participants to the hall.
