Director: Taste of Ennis a success

Phil Banker[email protected]

Supporters of Helping Hands of Ennis, as well as those looking for platefuls of Ennis’s best food filled the Knights of Columbus Hall on Thursday night for the 21st annual Taste of Ennis event.

The fundraiser, which Helping Hands Executive Director Judi Hejny once called a “celebration” of the organization, brought in over $1,000 in ticket sales.

“It’s been great,” Hejny said. “We surpassed what we took in last year.”
