Dispute ends with arrest, ICE detention

A domestic dispute between two divorced parents ended with two women arrested Saturday morning, according to police reports.

Mike Hopson, spokesperson for the Ennis Police Department, said Officer Chad Bolton responded to a report of an assault in progress at approximately 9:27 a.m. in the 300 block of West Waco Street. Upon arrival, Bolton spoke with the alleged victim who said his ex-wife, 39-year-old Alma Villegas, called him over to her home to check on the children.
