Down to wire for GAKAC
Give a Kid a Chance buckled down this week in preparation for Saturday’s event at Tabernacle Baptist Church. About 40 people pitched in to stuff 1,000 backpacks over about three hours on Tuesday evening.
The event set Saturday will offer school supplies, clothing and various services for children and their families, with organizers set on reaching at least 1,000 kids through their effort this year.
