Education foundation developing

A steering committee comprised of members from the Ennis Chamber of Commerce’s Partners in Education committee, Ennis ISD officials and other community volunteers are working to form the district’s first educational foundation.

Diana Freeman, executive director of federal programs and career and technology education for EISD, said members of a steering subcommittee are busy poring over examples of other foundations’ bylaws to help write bylaws for an Ennis foundation.
