EHS joins in Drug Facts Week program

Phil Banker, [email protected]

Ennis High School is the only school south of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex taking part in the National Drug Facts Week event starting Jan. 28.

The event is a joint venture between local drug prevention group IMPACT Ennis, the National Institute of Health and the National Institute on Drug Abuse. Josie Prachyl, IMPACT Ennis coalition coordinator, said students at EHS will participate in Drug Facts Chat Day on Jan. 28 where they can contact NIH doctors with questions about drugs and receive answers meant to dispel commonly-held drug myths.
