EHS Student Congress sending one to state

While the actual U.S. Congress may have its issues, the same cannot be said for the new Student Congress at Ennis High School.

The UIL is piloting a new contest this year called Student Congress, which models the legislative process of democracy. EHS participated in the inaugural district contest Thursday, Nov. 7 and finished with a state qualifier, Chauncey Buckley, who placed second overall and advances to the state meet Jan. 7-8 in Austin.
