EHS trying out new approach

Ennis High School announced some changes to its Saturday school program meant to bolster its scores in math and science.

Principal David Averett said the new Super Saturday program will replace the traditional credit recovery program with a more involved setup intended to supplement math and science instruction, areas that have been in focus since the school’s Academically Unacceptable rating in 2011.
