EISD examines test taking

Some Ennis ISD School Board trustees expressed concern Tuesday about the number of students taking college placement exams.

Brian Fry, EISD director of advanced academics and gifted education, presented data showing that according to data from 2011, 54.3 percent of Ennis High School juniors took the SAT or ACT, with only 30.5 percent scoring at or above the required level.
