EISD passes $42M budget

The Ennis ISD School Board unanimously passed a $42 million budget Tuesday, taking on a $2.2- million deficit with the assumption that they won’t need all the money.
Assistant Superintendent of Finance Lisa Fincher said the $2.2 million deficit was written into the budget as emergency contingency funds.
