The House Appropriations Committee set the first supplemental appropriations bill of the session, HB 10, for floor debate next week.
The bill, a $5 billion appropriation authored by Waxahachie Republican Rep. Jim Pitts to cover last session’s budget deficit, cleared the appropriations committee Wednesday by a 25-0 vote.
