The former Emporium building’s new co-owner George Wartsbaugh hopes to see that corner property at Dallas Street and Ennis Avenue rejuvenated by year’s end.

Exactly what the timeline for work is on the building, hit May 16 by the tornado that nailed downtown and damaged several structures, remains a question mark. An engineer’s report on the former Emporium building was expected at the end of last week, Wartsbaugh said.
