Emporium rehab moves ahead with replacement of cupola

The owners of the MW Emporium watched Thursday as a crew of workers clamored to the roof of their building and reinstalled the cupola that took a beating last May.

The topper was blown from the roof of the Emporium as an EF-1 tornado that damaged downtown whirled through, setting in motion a series of city recovery efforts and ordinance updates.
