Ennis courts possible industrial development

City Manager Steve Howerton planned to head to State Capitol with the city’s delegation to the annual Ennis Day in Austin, but local economic development has diverted his attention.
Howerton confirmed that developments in negotiations with a “significant industrial prospect” will mean he cannot attend the local delegation’s trip to Austin to lobby legislators Feb. 21.
