By all accounts a vibrant and dogged supporter of this community, Paula Campo spent more than a decade working for the city as the tourism secretary for the Ennis Convention and Visitors Bureau and uncounted years as a linchpin in the local Czech community.

She is well-known for Czech heritage work and as a dogged booster of the Ennis community. Campo is also widely known as “The Egg Lady” for her work preparing Czech Easter eggs annually as a way of passing down that heritage.
