Ennis ISD Foundation preparing nonprofit app

The organizers behind the Ennis ISD Educational Foundation hope to have their documentation submitted to the IRS before spring break.

Diana Freeman, executive director of federal programs and career and technology education for the school district, said at the foundation’s Tuesday board meeting the group cannot receive charitable donations until it officially receives its nonprofit tax designation.
