Ennis Police bids veteran investigator adieu

Ron Roark said his goodbyes to the Ennis Police Department on Monday, surrounded by coworkers, family and community figures who gathered close to wish him well in a retirement the former officer politely dreaded.

His chief, John Erisman, invited those present to share stories of working with the nigh-legendary police lieutenant, and those present did just that.
