Ennisite indicted on theft charge

A 53-year-old Ennis woman has been indicted for allegedly embezzling more than $720,000 from a local business over a period of years.
Ellis County Sheriff’s Office investigations chief Lt. Rick White said criminal investigators with the county received the case several months ago and have scoured thousands of pages of financial statements from the McGilvray Company location on I-45 in Ennis.
