Local police will have a presence at the upcoming funeral for a Waxahachie police officer killed Saturday in a crash with an alleged drunk driver.
Officer Josh Williams was killed on U.S. 77 when 24-year-old driver Dylyn Richards reportedly crashed into the officer’s vehicle. Richards has been charged with intoxicated manslaughter in the officer’s death.
