A recent alcohol sales sting resulted in just one arrest for illegal sales at the E-Z Mart on S. Kaufman Street.

Ennis police spokesperson Mike Hopson said most stores in Ennis are complying with alcohol sales laws, as a Saturday sting netted only one arrest.
Hopson said police arrested 30-year-old Samuel Johnson of Ennis for selling alcohol to a minor, a class B misdemeanor in Texas.
