Terri Barton has announced her intention to run for the Ennis ISD School Board.
Barton hopes to win the Place 6 seat being vacated by Larry Treadaway, who has chosen not to run for re-election after 17 years.
Barton enters a crowded race against Ennis State Bank executive Julie Pierce and retiree Dean Blazek.
