Chuck Ewings will begin work as city manager of Ennis on March 17.

Ewings, the chosen finalist in the city’s search to replace former manager Steve Howerton, appeared before the Ennis City Commission on Monday night to sign a contract for the position hammered out in negotiations with city leadership.
