Federal gun control plans raise concerns

President Barack Obama’s new proposed gun control legislation ruffled more than a few feathers in Ennis and the greater region on Wednesday.

Obama announced a litany of proposed executive actions alongside several proposed congressional initiatives meant to curtail the purchase of assault weapons, increase enforcement of existing laws and encourage more sharing of information between relevant agencies.
